Gustavo Dulanto terminates contract with Riga FC of Latvia and is free

The Peruvian defender Gustavo Dulanto He will not continue at Riga FC in Latvian football. The European club reported that, by mutual agreement, it terminated the player’s contract.

Now the 28-year-old footballer is free and can evaluate proposals to decide where he will play during the 2024 season.

Although Dulanto has not commented on the matter, it is not ruled out that he returns to Peruvian soccer and plays in Liga 1 Betsson in 2024.

The tall national center began his professional career at Universitario de Deportes in 2015 and remained at the cream institution until 2016.

Then he signed for UTC de Cajamarca in search of greater continuity in 2017. In 2018 and until the 2019 season he played for Deportivo Garcilaso.

In that same season he had his first international experience. Boavista from Portugal was his next club until 2020.

Although Dulanto would end that season playing for Sheriff Tiraspol in Moldova, where he had the opportunity to play in the Champions League and even captain the team.

He remained at that institution until 2022, the year in which he joined Riga FC, his last club.
