Boca Juniors is preparing to take on a new season, and forget last year’s performance. Given the departure of a promise like Valentín Barco, the ‘Xeneize’ group went in search of Luka Romero, another ‘Argentine gem’ with projection.
“Luka already gave him the OK. If they fix the conditions, he will surely be a Boca player,” said José Romero, the footballer’s grandfather.
The 19-year-old currently plays for AC Milan, and with a lack of first-team opportunities, he would be looking for a beneficial deal. The other options would be Italy’s Serie B or Liga MX.
“Boca needs a player like Luka. Italy’s Serie B is completely ruled out. He also has an offer from Alavés, but Luka has the possibility of coming to play in Argentina and he loves Argentina, it would be closer for us to see him,” assured ‘Pepe’ Romero.
