‘León’ Zambrano roars loudly over the delay in Cueva’s operation: “In Peru they want to lower costs and the player doesn’t matter”

In Europe they take charge and it doesn’t matter what it costs, here in Peru they simply want to reduce costs and they don’t care about the person or the player. That’s the big problem, it doesn’t matter, When there is an injury to a teammate or player, the club has to take charge, whatever it may be.”, he expressed.

Zambrano recalled that Cueva was injured and postponed his operation to be able to play for Alianza Limadespite the advice he gave him not to participate in training and undergo surgery.

“I know what was happening with my teammate, with Christian (Cueva), from the first day of his injury. We have shared so much dressing room time, He knew what was happening, but he wanted to keep trying, he was hurting himself more and more and what people don’t understand is that.he doesn’t know the reality of what the players go through, be it a bad day or some injury that one tries to fight, but it made it even more complicated for him, that’s why it affected him a lot.”, he indicated.

Christian Cueva’s entourage affirms that the player cannot yet undergo surgery on his knee injury because Alianza Lima does not give confirmation so far, since the club must bear the costs.
