The first goal of the Liga 1 Apertura Tournament was scored in Cajabamba. It was the Colombian attacker from UTC, Víctor Perlaza, who opened the scoring in the duel between his team and Deportivo Garcilaso on the opening date of the championship.
In a duel with few scoring opportunities, the creams reached the partial advantage after 45 minutes of play, after a lack of attention from the light blue defense.
The visiting goalkeeper, Diego Penny, was left halfway before Perlaza’s definition.
