The technical director of University of SportsFabián Bustos, valued the work of his team in the 4-0 victory against Carlos A. Mannucci in Trujillo, for the first date of the Apertura Tournament of the League 1 2024.
In the press conference after the match, the Argentine strategist highlighted what his squad had done on the playing field of the Mansiche stadium.
“There are things to continue improving, but it was important to win. The result does not matter so much, obviously that gives confidence, but we must not lose humility and know that work and day to day life is what positions us. Beyond the operation for all the people is the result, happy and satisfied with what was done with those who played, “We have a strong and united group, and I hope we continue on that path,” Bustos told the media.

He added that “We knew it was going to be complicated, we had to be attentive in everything, match their intensity and try to get a performance to open the scoring, and luckily we got ahead quickly.”
The next match of University of Sportscurrent national champion of League 1, will be on Saturday, February 3 against Atlético Grau, at 8:00 pm, at the Monumental de Ate stadium.
