University of Sports agreed with Hull City, from England’s second division, to extend the midfielder’s loan Yuriel Celifor the entire 2024 season.
“The 21-year-old joined Hull City at the winter transfer deadline last season from Carlos A. Mannucci, before immediately leaving on loan to Universitario,” the English club said in a statement.
“During his loan with the ‘U’, the Peruvian international participated 11 times and recorded one assist, helping the club win the First Division and Clausura Tournament titles. We wish Yuriel the best of luck on his loan.”
Although he did not have many minutes during 2023, now under the command of Argentine coach Fabián Bustos
In the debut of the creams in the current championship, Yuriel Celi had minutes. Universitario defeated Carlos Mannucci 4-0 in Trujillo.
Now, on the second day, they will host Atlético Grau next Saturday, February 3 at the Monumental stadium.
