TV audience: 6.6 million people watch the France-Ireland rugby match on France 2.

France lost big to Ireland… and France 2 gained a lot from other TV channels. On Friday night, 6.6 million viewers watched the France-Ireland Six Nations match, which ended 17-38 in Ireland’s favour. Thus, France 2 takes first place on the audience podium and attracts 33.6% of the viewers present in front of their TV.

The second winner of the evening is far behind: on France 3, the rebroadcast of an episode of the series “Cassandra” with Gwendoline Hamon and Alexander Varga attracts 2.9 million people (14.4% of the market). When the same fantasy first aired in May 2021, it was watched by 4.9 million viewers.

TF 1 defends itself well with its entertainment “Big Blooper.”

TF 1 takes third place with “Le grand bêtisier” presented by Karine Ferri and Christophe Beaugrand. The entertainment amused 2.1 million fans of jokes and surprises of all kinds (i.e. 10.5% of the audience). For its part, M6 did not shine with its rebroadcast of “Cauchemar en Kitchen”, which attracted only 887,000 fans of Philippe Etchebest’s rants (4.5% of the audience).

France 5 is doing well thanks to Claude Chabrol’s La Ceremony, starring Sandrine Bonnaire and Isabelle Huppert: the news-inspired drama attracted 796,000 moviegoers (4.1% of the market). “Arte” is also doing quite well with the broadcast of an episode of the mini-series “Lulu”: the fantasy attracts 679 thousand viewers (3.3% of the audience).

Note: On C8, the fourth night of the reality show “Welcome to the Monastery”, set in two religious communities, intrigued 430,000 people (2.1% of the public). At the time of its launch on January 12, the program attracted 646,000 curious people.
