FPF Disciplinary Commission opened proceedings against Rodrigo Ureña, Universitario player

The Disciplinary Commission of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) opened a disciplinary process against the Chilean player University of SportsRodrigo Ureña, due to the controversial gestures he made after being sent off by referee Edwin Ordóñez, in the match against Atlético Grau (1-0 cream win), for the second date of the Apertura Tournament, of the League 1 I bet you.

According to the document, the process against Ureña was opened for the alleged violation of the articles 55, 70 and 73 of the Single Regulation of Justice of the Peruvian Football Federation.

It is also indicated that the footballer and the University Sports Club will be transferred, so that, within a maximum period of two business days, formulate their defenses and attach the evidence they consider relevant.

What happened to Rodrigo Ureña?

On Saturday, February 3, at the Monumental stadium, Universitario received Atlético Grau (1-0) for the second date of the Apertura Tournament of Liga 1 Te Apuesta.

At 43 minutes, when the game was 0-0, Chilean Rodrigo Ureña fouled player Mauro Da Luz. After reviewing the VAR, referee Edwin Ordóñez showed the Chilean the red card, and with that, he had to be sent off, missing the classic on the third date against Alianza Lima.

As soon as he saw the red card against him, Ureña made a controversial gesture with his hand, as if accusing a ‘robbery’, which was captured by the transmission of the commitment.

The southerner could line up again this Saturday, February 17, in the match against Melgar, at the Monumental, for the fourth date of the local championship.
