Julio García, lawyer Paolo Guerrerospoke out this Thursday about the reasons why his sponsor decided not to play at the César Vallejo University, despite the fact that he already had a contract signed by that entity.
In dialogue with América Noticias, the lawyer confirmed that the player’s mother received messages from alleged extortionists, so her safety and that of her family was not guaranteed to travel to the city of Trujillo.
Despite this, he accused that the northern club, chaired by Richard Acuña, would refuse to release Paolo Guerrero:
“Basically, the point is: either you come to Trujillo or you stop playing football.”García indicated.
What did Paolo Guerrero say about his reasons for not playing for César Vallejo?
““What I wanted most was to play in Vallejo”said the forward in dialogue with América Noticias.
“Everything was happiness, I already had the idea that I was going to travel in Trujillo, and at night my mother calls me to tell me the messages she had received, very nervous.”
“We didn’t know how far that could go. I didn’t give it much interest. Then I called Cuevita (Christian Cueva). He told me things here are spicy but calm. We went to the minister (of the Interior). “My parents are in Peru and obviously they are nervous,” he noted on the news.
