Bicycle traffic jam on the bike path. Some time ago this would have been unimaginable in Paris. But today, when it’s time to leave the offices and hit some major roads, Paris almost looks like the European cycling capital.

Every Sunday on the Le Parisien Facebook page you will find a new video episode of our series “Biklou”.
In Copenhagen, 28% of all daily trips are made by bicycle. And almost every second person rides a bicycle to work or school every day. In Paris, although bicycle use has increased by 52% over the year, cycling only accounts for about 3% of all daily trips.
