The presentation of the Peruvian striker will take place on esplanade 2 of the César Vallejo University headquarters in Trujillo and can be seen on the social networks of the ‘poet’ club, because no channel has yet confirmed that it will broadcast the event.

International attacker Paolo Guerrero agreed this Wednesday to fulfill his contract with the Peruvian club César Vallejo and play for the first time in the Peruvian Soccer League, the institution reported.

“The César Vallejo club announces that after a series of conversations held between president Richard Acuña and our player Paolo Guerrero, an agreement satisfactory to both parties has been reached,” indicated a statement from the club published on its social networks.

“In the next few hours our player will join the first team in order to make himself available to the technical command,” he said.

Guerrero gave up last Thursday on fulfilling his one-year contract with Vallejo, after receiving threats of extortion and kidnapping of family members in Lima.

The attacker indicated that the first threats arose after the club, based in Trujillo (north), made the signing public on February 2.

The president of the club, Richard Acuña, told the press that “necessary measures are being adopted to guarantee the safety of the attacker and his family” in the city of Trujillo.

“Paolo was always willing to go to Trujillo,” Acuña told the América Noticias television channel.
