Jorge Fossati He offered a press conference to share his first list of those called up for the red and white team and was blunt when referring to the inclusion of the Peruvian Dane Oliver Sonne.
“When did I say that Oliver Sonne has no chance of being in the national team? I said and I repeat, I don’t bring anyone because I have a fan club or because I have people interested in bringing them,” said the national coach.
“In short, we really want to see him, and for that we have to see him training and as much as possible, that is the idea, playing,” he added.
The red and white will face two friendlies on the FIFA date against the teams of Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic on March 22 and 26 respectively.
It is worth mentioning that Peru is in last position in the South American Qualifiers with just 2 points out of 18 possible.
