Paris 2024: Peruvian swimmer María Alejandra Bramont qualified for the Olympic Games

The outstanding Peruvian athlete Maria Alejandra Bramont joins the Peruvian delegation that will participate in the next Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The open water swimmer (10km) becomes the 17th to compete for a medal for Peru in the world competition that will begin at the end of July.

“Life takes many turns and I will never get tired of saying it. Two weeks ago I was going through a lot of emotions that made me doubt if it was all really worth it. Today I can say definitely YES! Also tell my mom that the dream she had came true,” she wrote very excitedly on her Instagram account.

“Grateful to all the people who have been part of this. Especially to my family who have seen me in these years fighting for this dream come true,” added Bramont.

It didn’t take long for the congratulatory messages to reach her social networks and she took it upon herself to thank them one by one. A great performance is expected in this magical sporting event.
