Bengoechea or Chemo?: what is known about the next Vallejo de Guerrero coach

Roberto Mosquera’s cycle in Vallejo came to an end after a series of irregular results and in Trujillo they define his replacement. The objective of the ‘poets’ is to find a coach who already knows the medium and there are two main candidates.

The board of directors of the Trujillo team has thought of José Guillermo del Solar and Pablo Bengoechea as alternatives, but only one of them has priority.

El Comercio learned that Vallejo’s plan A is to hire Chemo del Solar, but the experienced national strategist has a contract with the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF), where he works as director of the Minors’ Technical Unit.

“We are going to wait until the last,” they said from the northern club, which has already reached a proposal to the former Universitario and Sporting Cristal coach. But he is not the only one.

Bengoechea is another option and there has been contact with the former coach of Alianza Lima and former assistant to Ricardo Gareca, they indicated at the UCV.
