Copa América 2024: Canada qualified the group of Peru, Argentina and Chile

Canada qualified for the Copa América for the first time on Saturday by defeating Trinidad and Tobago 2-0 in a play-off match played in Frisco (Texas).

The North American squad will face the current champion Argentina on June 20 in the opening match of the continental tournament in Group A, which also includes Chile and Peru.

The other ticket at stake for the Copa América will be played between Costa Rica and Honduras also this Saturday at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco.
