Venezuela knew how to react against Ecuador this Sunday and came back to try to win a victory by date 5 of the Qualifiers. After the 1-0 of the ‘Tri’ and the partial tie in the first half, Eduard Bello put the ‘Vinotinto’ 2-1 in the complement.
Ecuador went ahead on the scoreboard through Enner Valencia, who changed a penalty for a goal in the 37th minute. However, the celebration of the Tri did not last long because before the break Darwin Machís equaled for Venezuela at the Central University Olympic Stadium in Caracas.
The parity gave Venezuela motivation to go for the victory in the second half and this came in the 64th minute when Eduard Bello scored the second and final goal for the Ecuadorian bewilderment.
La Tri remains with 16 points and is provisionally in third place in the standings and Venezuela is still at the bottom with 7 integers. On the next day, this Thursday, the Vinotinto will visit Chile and Bolivia will receive Paraguay.
