What are the features of Cristiano Ronaldo’s new Ferrari Daytona SP3 and how much does it cost?

Cristiano Ronaldo He is a fan of super sports cars and his most recent acquisition is a Ferrari Daytona SP3, with which he arrived at the Portuguese national team’s training camp in Lisbon. This luxurious vehicle has a powerful engine that generates 840 hp and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.85 seconds. The Daytona SP3 is a supercar that belongs to Ferrari’s Icona series, which combines the most innovative engineering and technology with timeless design reminiscent of the legendary Ferraris of the past. The Ferrari Icona series has already drawn inspiration from the iconic Ferraris of the 1950s in the Monza SP1 and SP2, and the illustrious Golden Age cars of the 1960s in the Daytona SP3. From the latter, the name is taken to refer to the vehicle that the “Bug” and the other 598 owners have. Yes, the Italian firm only manufactured 599 units of this model, which is why it is one of the most exclusive in the world.

Regarding the price of the Ferrari Daytona SP3, there is no official information. However, the Car and Driver site points out that the vehicle costs between 2.2 and 3 million euros, depending on the equipment. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo’s vehicle is personalized with the headrests embroidered with his CR7 initials, which incurs an extra cost.

Regarding the technical characteristics, the Ferrari website indicates that the Daytona SP3 is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine that generates 840 hp and 697 nm, associated with a seven-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission. This mechanical assembly allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.85 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 340 km/h.

It is 4,686 mm long, 2,050 mm wide and 1,142 mm high, as well as a net weight of 1,485 kg. With this mass, the Daytona SP3 achieves an excellent weight/power ratio of 1.77kg/hp. It is a very good figure, since an average car has a ratio of 10 kg/hp, which demonstrates the high performance of the Daytona SP3.

It has different tires on its axles, measuring 265/30 ZR20 J9.0 on the front and 345/30 RZ21 J12.5 on the rear axle. Furthermore, to stop the power and speed it develops, it uses enormous brakes measuring 398x223x36 mm (front) and 380x253x34 mm (rear).

Finally, the fuel consumption ratio is good considering the size of the engine, since it performs between 14 km/g and 27 km/g, according to Ferrari figures. Although it is a vehicle that consumes a lot of fuel compared to traditional brand vehicles, this will not be a problem for a billionaire like Cristiano Ronaldo.
