The goalkeeper of LDU of QuitoAlexander Domínguez, spoke with the press upon the arrival of the Ecuadorian team to Lima to face Universitario de Deportes for Libertadores Cup.
The tricolor team also highlighted the strength of the creams, but is confident in the performance of the current champion of the Copa Sudamericana.
“We are going to play against a very difficult opponent, very complicated, but we come with a lot of desire to do things well. They have a great coach, great players, but we come motivated and with a lot of enthusiasm,” Domínguez said as he left the Jorge Chávez International Airport.
“We know his coach (Fabián Bustos), we know how he plays, we know that he comes with a base, but we hope to be up to the task. No rival is easy and all rivals are difficult,” he added.
The match will be played this Tuesday from 9:00 pm (Peruvian time) at the Monumental stadium with tickets sold out.
Universitario will have the absence of Álex Valera in attack, and his place will be taken by José Rivera. Diego Dorregaray will be an alternative on the substitute bench.
