The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are fast approaching, less than four months away. Some events will not take place in Paris but will be moved to the rest of France for practical reasons.
Saint-Etienne is one of seven cities, along with Marseille, Nantes, Lyon, Nice, Bordeaux and Paris, that will host men’s and women’s football tournaments. In July, the ASSE Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium will host three women’s and three men’s matches.
For men:
- Wednesday, July 24 (15:00): Group B, Day 1 Argentina – Morocco
- Saturday, July 27 (17:00): Group B, Day 2 Ukraine – Morocco
- Tuesday, July 30 (19:00): Group A, Day 3 USA – Asia-Africa Playoffs
Among women:
- Thursday, July 25 (17:00): Group A, Day 1 Canada – New Zealand
- Sunday, July 28 (21:00): Group A, 2nd day. France -Canada
- Wednesday, July 31 (19:00): Group B, Day 3 Morocco or Zambia – Germany
After the draw for the women’s and men’s football tournaments, the organization of the Olympic Games put up a million tickets for sale on the Paris 2024 website.
It is still possible to attend some matches at the Geoffroy-Guichard Stadium, except for Ukraine – Morocco for men, Canada – New Zealand and France – Canada for women, which are declared on the site as filled.
There are no more places left for the other three playoff matches Argentina – Morocco and USA – Asia/Africa (men) and Morocco or Zambia – Germany (women) in categories A, B and C.
Only the cheapest seats at 24 euros are still available, but they are “not currently available” as we can read on the ticketing website.
