Cemento Sol becomes official sponsor of the Women’s Soccer League

The Women’s Soccer League will have a new official sponsor in Cemento Sol throughout 2024. UNACEM, through its cement brand, renews its commitment to women’s soccer and becomes the sponsor of the championship in which thirteen clubs participate.

Let us remember that the emblematic brand already had initiatives such as ‘Team Sol’, an initiative that seeks to give greater value and relevance to the great figures of this sport, so that they are an example of strength and unity among Peruvians.

“Peruvian sport still owes a debt to women’s soccer. Despite being a discipline that is making its way in our country, it still does not have the visibility it deserves. For this reason, through Cemento Sol we are betting on the Women’s Soccer League in order to boost its level of exposure and connect it to new generations.”explains Gabriel Barrio, Commercial Manager of UNACEM.

“We also support sports as a tool to promote equality among Peruvians. “We firmly believe that our support contributes directly to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable city, where all gender gaps are closed,” Barrio maintains.
