Alianza Lima: Bruno Marioni considers the return of Carlos Zambrano “a success”

The sports manager of Alianza Lima, Bruno Marionireferred to the return of the experienced defender Carlos Zambrano to the intimate squad, after not being taken into account during the preseason.

In dialogue with Ovación, the blue and white leader was very satisfied with the performance of ‘León’, who is the undisputed starter and captain of the team.

“It was a success that Carlos (Zambrano) is back with us, working with the group, with the commitment that he assumed,” Marioni said.

“We have seen the Zambrano that we all knew, no one is surprised by his performance and that has been a success for everyone, for him, for us to give him the tools. His performance has been reflected on the field,” he added.

On the other hand, he took stock of the performance of the blue and white team so far this year.

“Being objective, we would like to be higher in the table. It has cost us some results this semester, but we are sure that we are on the right path,” he concluded.

Alianza Lima will face Sport Boys this Thursday, April 18 from 8:00 pm at the National Stadium.
