Pedro Gallese on the arrival of Jorge Fossati to the national team: “He is uniting the group”

The goalkeeper and reference of the Peruvian team, Pedro Gallesespoke with the FIFA website about the present of the red and white months away from facing the Copa América in the United States.

Peru has a new technical command led by the Uruguayan Jorge Fossati, after the departure of the national Juan Reynoso, after a bad start in the Qualifiers.

“He (Fossati) comes with his technical command and is filling us with information. He is uniting the group, giving us concepts to convey on the field. I think he is going to be good and we take him,” commented the Orlando City goalkeeper.

On the other hand, he commented on what is coming for the team, taking into account that it is in the last position of the Qualifiers.

“We know that we are in a complicated position that we do not plan to face at this moment, but the Qualifiers are long, we still have time. The Copa América is going to help us unite the group,” said the experienced goalkeeper.

Peru will face Paraguay prior to the Copa América in the United States. Furthermore, the Peruvian Football Federation reported that the red and white team will have another friendly before the aforementioned event, with an opponent to be confirmed.

The Peruvian team is in Group A, along with Argentina, Chile and Canada.
