Tiago Nunes and the reason for not continuing at Sporting Cristal: “I like to see immediate results”

The Brazilian coach Tiago Nuneswhich he directed Sporting Cristal During the 2023 season, he spoke about the reasons that motivated his non-renewal with the celestial club.

“I like to work in the long term, but I also like to see immediate results. So when I see that there is no opportunity to achieve something important within a certain time, there is not much point in me continuing,” he said in statements to TNT Sports.

“I want to be part of something that really makes sense and can achieve general growth of the club, of the team, but that can also achieve results not only at the local level, but also internationally,” added the coach of the Universidad Católica.

For the 2024 season, Cristal once again opted for the Brazilian school and is currently directed by Enderson Moreira, with whom they were unable to access the group stage of the Copa Libertadores.
