Reimond Manco defends his return to football: “I’m going to play until my body gives me” | League 1 I bet you

The 33-year-old Peruvian attacker, Reimond Manco, made news in recent days, after announcing his return to professional football.

The former national team will wear the Unión Comercio shirt that participates in League 1 Te Apuesta and is quite motivated, despite the criticism he received.

In this regard, in dialogue with the Apuesta.com Instagram account, Manco argued such a decision and even dared to report on the years he hopes to continue playing.

“People say ‘He’s old now.’ Many critics as there usually are. I always said it was a momentary retirement. He had a lot on his mind. “My father’s death hit me very hard,” declared the former Alianza Lima.

“I don’t know if it’s the last chance. I’m going to play until my body gives up. Obviously, I’m going to leave football, I’m not going to wait for him to leave me,” she added.

Unión Comercio is relegated to the bottom of the Apertura Tournament table and with this addition the Tarapoto club hopes to get out of that uncomfortable position.
