Pachuca beat Necaxa 2-1 this Sunday and earned the last place in the quarterfinals of the Mexican Clausura tournament.
The six best teams from the regular phase qualify directly to the quarterfinals. The other two places are disputed by the teams that were in places from seventh to tenth.
In the quarterfinals, Pachuca will face América, leader of the classification, which it eliminated in the middle of the week in the semifinals of the Concacaf Champions Cup. Cruz Azul will play with the Pumas UNAM, Toluca with the Chivas de Guadalajara and Monterrey against the UANL Tigres.
