Copa Libertadores: Hernán Barcos achieved an important milestone in Alianza Lima with his goal against Cerro Porteño

The Argentine striker Hernan Barcos scored the goal Lima Alliance before Cerro Porteño for Libertadores Cup and with this score he reaches an important milestone with the blue and white club.

The ‘Pirate’ became the oldest Alliance footballer to score in this international competition.

The one who had this mark was Wilmer Aguirre at 38 years old, while Barcos achieved it at 40.

In addition, the experienced scorer is also the oldest albiceleste to score a goal in Libertadores.

Despite this record, Alianza complicated its chances of advancing to the round of 16 of the tournament, since it was essential to achieve its first victory in this group stage.

Alianza Lima will visit Sport Huancayo this weekend for Liga 1 Te Apuesta, and then host Colo Colo for the Copa Libertadores.
