University of Sports will be measured next Thursday, May 16 against Botafogoin a key duel for the fifth date of Group D of the Libertadores Cup.
In this regard and after beating LDU in Brazil, Artur Jorge, coach of ‘Fogao’, referred to this final stretch of the series and pointed to Universitario, his next rival.
“Without a doubt we are going to fight for these two games, for the six points that are at stake. We really have to look for the points we lost at home in the first game and try to repeat the result we got here against Universitario,” he said at a press conference.
Along these lines, he ruled out that the home factor is an impediment to playing his game and beating the creams at the Monumental Stadium.
“It can never be a function of whether we play in Rio or abroad. We have to have the courage, the ability to fight wherever we can. We are perfectly aware of all this, Jorge pointed out.
After losing in their first two presentations, Botafogo recovered ground in the group and reached six points with the first chance to advance to the next phase.
