The women’s volleyball team University of Sports continues to be strengthened for the next campaign of the National Leagueand this time announced the signing of Zaira Manzo.
The outstanding point guard, niece of former soccer player Samuel Eugenio, joins the cream team that will seek the national title.
The new 35-year-old Merengue signing comes from the Rebaza Acosta club.
Manzo has been recognized as the best setter on three occasions: in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons, as well as in the 2020/2021 Movistar Cup, where she was also crowned champion with Jaamsa.
