Joel Raffo on losing the Apertura Tournament: “We cannot be unfair to the group of players”

Sporting Cristal is experiencing moments of change after the departure of Brazilian coach Enderson Moreira, as reported by the club president, Joel Raffowho dedicated the last few days to providing interviews.

Precisely, the celestial manager shared his impressions regarding the perception of the Bajopontino fan who considers it a failure not to win the Apertura Tournament.

“We have finished a tournament with 40 points, it was not enough for us for the Apertura, but if we make a cut in the Accumulated, we are tied with the other team,” Raffo said in statements to Glorioso Celeste.

“We cannot be unfair to the group of players to detract from that,” he added.

On the other hand, Raffo made a small reflection and addressed the Sporting Cristal fans, asking them for patience to achieve the institutional objectives.

“We have failed in some cases in the past, today is where I ask for that predisposition to gain the trust of the fans. We have started a change along those lines,” he noted.

For now, and with the break for the Copa América, the celestial board has the pending work of hiring a technical director for the first team and adding a foreign reinforcement.
