The ITF Master Tournament – MT1000 “Terrazas Ciudad Miraflores – Copa Eco Plaza” is beginning to take place. This Friday, June 14, the press conference for the event was held, which is part of the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour Circuit of the International Tennis Federation (ITF). This tournament will take place from June 15 to 22, 2024 at the Club Terrazas Miraflores.
The ceremony took place in the town hall of the Municipality of Miraflores and was attended by important figures such as the president of the club, Alex Ternero; Eduardo Lipari, tournament director for 17 editions; the athletes Duilio Vallebuona and Lorena Rodríguez; and a representative of the Eco Plaza Group, main sponsor of the event.
A notable feature of the tournament is that it is open to any tennis fan, allowing historical figures and sports personalities to compete, such as the former Uruguayan soccer player Diego Forlán.
The tournament is one of the most prominent in the masters category in South America, bringing together players between 30 and 85 years old in different categories, including singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
The “Terrazas Ciudad Miraflores – Copa Eco Plaza” differs from the other 29 tournaments of the same category around the world by offering the main judge, line judges, ball boys, physical therapy and free use of the Club Terrazas facilities.
