‘Chacho’ Coudet does not see the Peruvian team responsible for Renato Tapia’s injury

Sincere and direct as always. Eduardo Coudet, Celta de Vigo coach, took responsibility from the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) in the injury suffered by Renato Tapia, which he understands is motivated by the demanding schedule of international footballers.

“He cramped in Elche and when he got to Peru they did an MRI. He did not have an injury that prevented him from doing anything. He started training and in the third session he felt a discomfort. There they do tests again and he has a bleeding. It is not something serious, but they are the things that can happen to players who have many games and long trips “, indicated the ‘Chacho’ in a press conference.

Tapia, indisputable for the celestial coach, suffers a grade I fibrillar tear in the hamstring of his right leg, which will prevent him from playing the next league games against Sevilla, Getafe and Real Sociedad. In the best of cases, he could reappear on November 1 against Rayo in Vallecas.

“From here to Peru it takes you almost a day to get there, it gets long, and then you have three games there in nine days. It is something that all teams are suffering. We had the misfortune to lose it, but it could happen there or here. No one to blame”, Commented Coudet, one day after the clash against Sevilla in Balaídos.

Renato Tapia did not participate in any match of the recent triple date of the Qatar 2022 Qualifiers. Moreover, a former member of Twente, Feyenoord and Willem II was called off before the matches against Bolivia and Argentina.

For sure, the medical team of the Peruvian team is already following up on the case of Tapia, with whom Ricardo Gareca hopes to count on for the double day of November, in which the ‘Blanquirroja’ will face Bolivia in Lima and Venezuela in Caracas .
