Goal debut: Jean Pierre Rhyner made his debut like this at Volos in Greece | VIDEO

He signed at the end of June for Volos NFC, but it was not until this Sunday that Jean Pierre Rhyner was able to make his official debut with the Greek team. And boy, the premiere was good. The Swiss with a Peruvian mother scored a goal and saved his team from defeat in a duel against PAOK.

Rhyner waited for his chance on the substitute bench and entered in the 79th minute to replace Tasos Tsokanis. Three minutes later, the defender headed in a cross from Argentine Franco Ferrari and declared the final 4-4 in the framework of the sixth day of the Greek Super League.

The 25-year-old footballer thus gave the surprise at the Toumba Stadium, where PAOK is home. Before Rhyner, Kevin Rosero (62 ′) and José Bartolo (54 ′) made Volos react, which was down on the scoreboard, by a resounding 4-1. Tom van Weert, that is to say, had opened the scoring for the visiting cast.

“How nice to come back that way! Great work from the whole team against a great rival, PAOK. To continue, great team “, was the message that Rhyner shared on his Instagram account, minutes after the meeting.

With the tie, Volos NFC reached thirteen points and ranks second in the championship, behind leader PAOK, who has the same number of units.

Rhyner, called up to the Peruvian national team for the games against Chile and Argentina in November last year, previously played for Grasshopper, Schaffhausen, Cádiz, Cartagena and Emmen.
