Max Verstappen criticized Netflix’s ‘Drive to Survive’: “They faked some rivalries”

The fourth season of ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’ will premiere next year on Netflix. The production, which was released in 2019 on the aforementioned streaming platform, tries to show what happens inside the world of motorsports, after each race.

However, for this new installment, the pilot Max Verstappen He confirmed that he will not participate and refused to provide more interviews for the aforementioned streaming platform. The car racer revealed that he made the decision after seeing that confrontations are invented in the chapters.

“They faked some rivalries that don’t really exist. So I decided not to be a part of it and I didn’t give any more interviews after that because then there is nothing you can show ”, The Red Bull driver confessed in dialogue with the Associated Press (AP).

Max Verstappen stressed that he wants the truth to be shown in every scene. “I’m not really a dramatic show person, I just want real events and things to happen”, he added during the interview in the run-up to the United States Grand Prix.

“I understand that you have to do it to increase popularity in the United States. But from my side as a driver, I don’t like being part of that ”, sentenced the pilot, who on several occasions has avoided giving statements about his life.
