Journalist who was fired for insane comment on Camavinga referred to the issue

“It was something I supposedly did on a closed mic, but I’m not going to apologize for a racist comment, because I never did.”, Affirmed the journalist, who later on how her words were given.

“I gave an absurd phrase, which journalistically does not contribute anything, that’s why I thought I was at a closed microphone. It was nothing derogatory or pejorative. I do not look down on the player, nor do I compare his skin color or anything ugly. A phase with that sense would not come out of my mouth, neither open nor closed microphone”He added.

Finally, he explained that he spoke with Eduardo Camavinga and there were no hard feelings. “We spoke personally for a long time and at no time was he offended. Only some want to be more potato chips than the Pope. I have been in this profession for 11 years and I have always tried to exercise with respect. It was a skid, but not to end anyone’s career”, Lorena González sentenced.
