A scene that will remain for posterity in the European basketball club competition. On the second date of the Eurocup, Partizan vs. Turk Telekom, when at one point during a free kick a little boy caught the ball that left the field of play and caused a tender moment.

The boy could not resist the temptation to enter the court and try to make a basket. Faced with his desire, the Partizan player, Alen Smailagic decided to help him fulfill his wish.

The former Golden State Warriors winger picked him up and led him into the scoring area. The little one managed to complete a basket on his second attempt and completed a great moment with ‘Smiley’. After that, he was applauded by the audience.

Alen Smailagic is the power forward for Partizan Belgrade who earned the nickname ‘Smiley’ while playing for the Warriors: “I like that nickname and I use it when I introduce myself. I find it funny. It makes the people next to me feel comfortable, as they think, ‘Oh, people call him Smiley, so he’s a happy person.With'”.

The 21-year-old came to Partizan in the last transfer market after spending the last three years in the United States. He was part of the Santa Cruz Warriors, the New Orleans Pelican and, his greatest success, the Golden State Warriors.

With his last team he played 29 games during a total of two seasons in the NBA. Now, in Partizan he will have to face Joventut for the third date on Tuesday, November 2.
