The WWE wrestler and the invader were twisted together for a few seconds. Officials from the entertainment wrestling company quickly came in to separate them. Then the gladiator blurted out a few words for the unexpected attack. At the same time, the attacker was removed from the Barclays Center, the colossus of Brooklyn, in New York, which hosted the Monday night program.

Minutes later, the company shared a press release to the media to emphasize that “WWE takes care of its competitors very seriously”. They also indicated in the note that “The individual who attacked Seth Rollins was intercepted and transferred to the New York Police Department, where he will be punished with the full extent of the law”.

According to information from ESPN journalist Marc Raimondi, local authorities identified the man as Elisah Spencer, 24. This person “is being charged with attempted assault and attempted violation of artistic and cultural affairs (disrupting a live sporting event).”

The same communicator revealed that Seth Rollins suffered a swelling in the lips, although he did not want to be treated by WWE doctors.
