The Peruvian clubs in question maintain that the call by the highest entity that governs soccer in the country was hasty and illegitimate.

The document also details that the institutions will be represented in said court by the Spanish lawyers Gorka Villa, Juan de Dios Crespo and Agustón Amorós, the Peruvian collegiate Julio García and the lawyers of the aforementioned clubs.

“We take this opportunity to show that our institutions have been making all the necessary efforts to defend the legality and integrity of the Peruvian soccer system. Competitors on the field, but united in law and justice ”, the statement reads.
