The world Boca Juniors is totally agitated by a supposed indiscipline of Carlos Zambrano, Sebastián Villa and Edwin Cardona in the previous match last night against Newell’s Old Boys. With the team out of the qualification zone for the Copa Libertadores 2022, Sebastián Battaglia affirmed that the aforementioned players were not from the game because they arrived “intoxicated”; however, reports state that they arrive “drunk and out of time.”

Boca Juniors players, Carlos Zambrano, Sebastián Villa and Edwin Cardona have committed an act of indiscipline, according to TyC Sports. For that reason, the Colombian attackers participated for a few minutes in the goalless draw against Newell’s Old Boys and the Peruvian player was not taken into account.

According to the media, the team was upset and endorsed that the aforementioned players are not starters. In addition, the Argentine channel mentioned that the technical director, Sebastián Battaglia, will continue to call them because they are on the final date of the tournament. However, later, the leadership will have the final decision in case they wish to separate them.

TyC Sports also pointed out that the Boca Juniors authorities suspect that the players drank a drink or ingested a food that would have caused the discomfort in their health.

In the post-match press conference, the strategist stated that they arrived intoxicated and that is why I cannot line them up from the start. Given this, the journalist Jorge Rial was forceful: “It was not intoxication. They arrived drunk and out of time. I admire sports journalists juggling not to tell the truth. There is a lot of fever in Boca. The rest of the players don’t understand why Battaglia put them the same ”.

Given this, another journalist who also spoke out was Martín Liberman. Through his Twitter account, the ‘Colorado’ stated: “One more reason why Zambrano will never be a great player.”
