A difficult duel is coming, but a joy came before it. The FC Barcelona squad had a dinner in the city, the same one that Pedri invited. The Spanish midfielder decided to invite his teammates to a meal after winning the Kopa award, which accredits him as the best young player – under 21 years of age – in the world, as was announced by ‘Mundo Deportivo’.

The Catalan media indicated that the meeting took place in a restaurant in the upper area of Barcelona, in Via Veneto. The purpose of the dinner would have been to celebrate his renewal, his birthday, the Kopa Trophy awarded to him by France Football magazine and to strengthen their ties shortly after the duel at the Allianza Arena.

Barcelona will have to face Bayern Munich in Germany for the final match of the Champions League group stage and will need a positive result to secure their passage to the next stage of the European championship.

It should be noted that the vast majority of staff members attended the meeting, starting with Xavi Hernández who gladly accepted the invitation, although the first to arrive was Pedri, the organizer. After them were present, according to Mundo Deportivo, Balde Mingueza, Neto, Memphis Depay, ‘Kun’ Agüero, Xavi Óscar Hernández’s brother, among other guests.

A few days after being designated Golden Boy by the Italian magazine Tuttosport, the canary also won this award a few minutes before the 65 Ballon d’Or was announced, for which he was also a candidate, but finished 24th in the ranking of 30 finalists.
