The road to the 2022 campaign began for the Sports University. This Tuesday, the first team players and the technical command led by Gregorio Pérez were summoned in the morning to the Campo Mar facilities in order to start with the preseason work.

The protagonists of the merengue painting were captured while they arrived at the beach venue. Likewise, through official social networks, the footballers, the DT and his team received a warm welcome message. A post in which the fans of the ‘creams’ also participated through the profiles.

“Welcome, creams! Our players arrived at the Campo Mar U facilities for the start of the preseason. Motivation is at the top ”, says the publication in the social media of the University on the eve of the work day scheduled by Pérez and staff of the student body.

Hernán Novick, Federico Alonso, Luis Urruti, Nelinho Quina, Thiago Cantoro are some of the members of the first team that appear in the uploaded postcards. The strategist Gregorio Pérez also appears accompanied by his assistants. The detail? All three with the traditional mate to charge energy.

Immediately, the ‘U’ showed all the club’s fans that the Campo Mar facilities are in the best conditions so that the professional team can work without problems. “The identity and cream colors are the protagonists in the sports complex”says another message through the networks.

It is important to remember that, since last weekend, the members of the squad of the merengue team complied with going through the respective medical examinations to receive the green light for the preseason.

The new ‘creams’

For now, Universitario has confirmed two reinforcements to face the new season of League 1 and the preliminary round of the Copa Libertadores. Alfonso Barco and Joao Villamarín are the new faces for the Uruguayan team Pérez.
