The Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) released a statement on Friday morning to announce the recent ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS). According to the official note of the entity chaired by Agustín Lozano, the judicial body rejected the lawsuit presented by Alianza Lima, Sporting Cristal, Melgar and Cienciano.

A few weeks ago, the League 1 clubs requested nullity in the face of a new call for the FPF elections. According to the institutions of the highest category of Peruvian soccer, the development of the elections is illegitimate. Likewise, national entities have a contrary position before the statutes of the Federation.

Then, after learning the official position of Alianza Lima, Sporting Cristal, Melgar and Cienciano against the FPF, the TAS has already resolved in relation to this matter. Therefore, the publication of an official note from the Videna offices.
