Cienciano goes to Sicuani for Dad’s Afternoon after learning about new measures

Lima, January 5, 2022Updated on 05/01/2022 09:50 pm

Cienciano had to change venues on Papa’s Afternoon so that he can count on the support of his fans in the stands. The Cusco club will present its squad version 2022 this Sunday, January 9, but no longer at the Garcilaso Stadium in Cusco as originally agreed, but at the Túpac Amaru Stadium in Sicuani.

The modification of the red box occurred after the announcement of the Government’s new measures to face the third wave of COVID-19. One of the guidelines has to do with the fact that Cusco was considered to be of a high alert level and, with this, the capacity in the stadiums was prohibited. Different is the case of the province of Canchis, where Sicuani is located. There a 30% capacity is allowed.

“The Tupac Amaru de Sicuani stadium is our alternate stadium that we have registered with the Federation. We have an agreement and I want to take this opportunity to thank the mayor of the province of Canchis for all the support and the Cienciano fans who are there to tell them that we are going to go play there and that everything is completely organized ”, detailed Eddy Cuéllar, director of Cienciano, on Radio Ovación.

“We must comply with all the protocols. People who have the two vaccines will be able to enter, who wear the KN-95 mask or two surgical ones, we must maintain social distancing and comply with the capacity “Cuéllar added.

The Cienciano event, which expects to receive a maximum of four thousand people, is scheduled for noon. After introducing their players, the team will clash with Sport Boys.

Paolo Fuentes, Josué Estrada, Alexis Cossio, Carlos Beltrán, Axel Chávez, Patrick Zubczuk, Erick Perleche, Josué Rachumik, Emmanuel Ibáñez, Nicolás Rinaldi, Jack Durán, Miguel Ángel Vargas, Fernando Guerrero, Luciano Recalde and Facundo Curuchet are, so far , the incorporations of the ‘Papa’.
