Alianza Lima faces Geminis this Saturday for the Superior National Women’s Volleyball League

Alianza Lima will return to the courts to play the second day of the National Superior League of Women’s Volleyball. On this occasion, the blue and white squad will face Geminis this Saturday (3 pm) at the Villa El Salvador Sports Center.

The team led by Carlos Aparicio arrives motivated for this match after beating Deportivo Alianza (3-2) on the first date. Therefore, the players seek to add their second consecutive win and continue at the top of the standings.

The ‘Intimates’ will be able to count on the encouragement of their fans, since a capacity of 40% has been authorized for the matches of the highest category that are played in January. Attendees must carry their vaccination card, double mask and their ID to enter the venue.

In the same way, this meeting will mean the debut of the Brazilians Emanuelle Dos Santos and Marina Scherer together with the Mexican Daianne Álvarez who are the three foreign athletes who came to reinforce the team.

On the other hand, Geminis will also be looking to add their second victory in a row in this competition. On the first day, he easily defeated Rebaza Acosta (3-0).

It is important to mention that this will not be the only match this Saturday, as Latino Amisa will clash against Circolo from 5:30 in the afternoon.

The National Superior Volleyball League restarted this Wednesday the 19th with the victory of Regatas Lima (3-0) over Deportivo Alianza at the Villa El Salvador Sports Center. The athletes were also happy with the return of the public to the stands. This was expressed by Miriam Patiño, who was chosen as the best volleyball player of the match.
