The world was able to see the Peruvians compete in the World Tour. This Saturday Pipeline started and both Lucca Mesinas Y Miguel Tudela, who competes with a Wild Card, showed all their talent in the waves of Hawaii.

The start of both was somewhat complicated due to the level of surfers they faced, so both were third in their first round heats, so they had to go on to play the elimination round.

Miguel Tudela was the first to compete and was third below Ítalo Ferreira and Callum Robson, while Lucca was below Jack Robinson and Kelly Slater. Both Peruvians had to go to the elimination round along with other third parties from the first round.

In this instance, the two showed all their talent. Lucca was second in his heat with a score of 9.50, while Miguel was also second in his heat with a total of 14.83. Tudela is considered a specialist in this type of wave and he proved it.

Thus, both advanced to Round 3 or round of 32. In this instance, it is already a question of heads-up duels. Miguel Tudela will once again face the Brazilian Ferreira, who is number 3 in the CT ranking. Lucca Mesinas, for her part, will do so against the American Kolohe Andino, who is ranked 13th in the aforementioned ranking.
