Since the beginning of this month there has been information about the activities of a new group of cyber criminalscalling themselves LAPSUS$, which has been dedicated in recent weeks to stealing codes and other important data from different highly relevant technology companies.

Among the companies affected by this series of attacks there are Microsoft, Samsung, the video card company NVidia, the video game developer Ubisoft, and even the online sales platform Mercado Libre.
The affected companies accepted that they had been victims of the cyber attacks. In some cases it was confirmed that data from some of their clients had been compromised, in others that the attack had not affected sensitive areas of the organization.

The most recent information, up to the time of the publication of this video, indicates that the London police have arrested seven people, between the ages of 16 and 21, related to this case.
