We are sure that, at least on one occasion, the content trailers in Netflix have caused you inconvenience. These trailers play automatically; however, for a couple of years the streaming platform already allows you to disable that option.

In the year 2020, the official Netflix Twitter account posted that some people find the trailer autoplay feature useful but they considered the option of disabling it for those who find it annoying.
Some people find this feature helpful. Others not so much.

Here we will teach you disable trailers from the different devices you watch Netflix on.
From smartphone and tablet
- Go to the home screen and press the profile icon or the button Plus (the three horizontal lines).
- Sign in to Manage profiles.
- Select the profile you want to modify.
- Toggle the button next to Automatic playback of trailers to turn it on or off.
- Finally, press on Clever.

From TV, laptop and computer
- Go to your settings Profile (at the top right of the main Netflix screen).
- Choose Playback settings.
- Click on Automatically play trailers.
- Finally, select Save.
most likely you have to refresh the netflix page so that you already have the progress option disabled.
