Android: know which applications are rapidly consuming your battery

Users of Android they usually have many apps downloaded and that they use in their day to day. However, some of these applications can be consuming our battery quickly and, sometimes, without even realizing it.

It is known that apps that play videos or games tend to use up our battery quickly. This is because the equipment, when you use these applications, are working at all times because they seek to maintain the quality of the reproduction. Nevertheless, some apps do not have these features or are not used constantly, but they still consume our battery.

These ‘vampire’ apps, as they are often called, they drain the energy of our Android device by staying open in the background. That is, despite the fact that we have closed them, continue to be used without us noticing and at all times.

Have you ever wondered how WhatsApp or Instagram send you notifications if you have the app closed? Simple, they are in a background use, so even though you have closed them, they continue to work to notify you of the news you have configured.

Likewise, there are other apps that continue to be used in the background, but that do not even notify anything, since we do not use them regularly. Also, we have tools that are constantly working, but we don’t need to use them every moment, like GPS or Bluetooth.
