The media noted that the CEO of Tesla would have made this comment to potential investors. In the past, Musk has already made this option clear; nevertheless, this downsizing would be more drastic.
Currently, Twitter has 7,500 people in the company, If 75% of the staff is fired, 5,600 people will have to leave the offices.

According to The Verge, the former head of Twitter health and spam metrics told The Washington Post that Musk cutouts are “unimaginable”compared to what was already planned before the businessman expressed his offer to buy the social network.
