How to create a chat with yourself on WhatsApp?

WhatsAppAs well as being a tool for communicating with other people, it’s also a sort of notebook for those who need a place to jot down ideas, reminders, and shopping lists, or save links to items they want to review later.

This use, perhaps less known by users, is the one that the company now seeks to highlight with the latest changes that it has introduced in its beta. On the one hand, it will clearly indicate that it is the user’s number in the chat and, on the other, it will include it in the contact list, to make it easier to locate it.

But to be able to start a chat with oneself, users do not have to wait for WhatsApp to implement the new features in a future update. There are currently two fairly simple ways to create a chat-notebook:

For another, there is the option to open the chat directly with the user’s number. This number does not currently appear in the contact list —it is one of the innovations in which the company is working—, but there is always the option of entering it as one more contact in the phone book and from there select ‘Send a message to +51XXXXXXXXX’.
