Elon Musk on Twitter’s problems: “Bankruptcy is not ruled out”

Elon Musk does not rule out declaring Twitter bankrupt if changes to the platform continue to fail, and losses to the social network are not covered. This was stated in a meeting with company employees.

One of the main reasons why the tycoon considered the bankruptcy of Twitter, has been because of the flight of its advertisers and the abandonment of the managers, after having taken control of the social network.

Musk also admitted that he sold 19.5 million shares (for nearly $4 billion) of his electric car company Tesla to keep Twitter. He also acknowledged that “the economic outlook is alarming” in a message to his employees.

SpaceX invests in expensive Twitter ad campaign

SpaceX, Elon Musk’s aerospace company, would also have entered the game of saving the social network. The company You have purchased one of the largest ad packages available on Twitter. According to CNBC, SpaceX intends to promote Starlink, its satellite broadband internet service with an investment of more than $250,000 in an advertising campaign on the social network.

The advertising package acquired by SpaceX, called a “takeover,” allows companies to display their services in ads that appear on the first line of the feed for an entire day. In the case of SpaceX, each user would see the same ad at least 3 times when entering Twitter.
